“I suppose in the end the whole of life is an act of letting go. But what always hurts the most is not taking as moment to say goodbye.” – Life of Pi

I really enjoyed this movie. Not only was it cinematically excellent, it had so many intriguing thoughts on life. It’s also just a great story and it had a writer in it – I love movies with writers in them! This is by far one of the best quotes and very true. There is so much letting go in life as I am learning and it really does hurt when we don’t say goodbye, especially to those who meant a lot to us or who we shared a great experience with. I also like the part where Pi tells the writer “If it happened it happened. Why should it have to mean anything?” Interesting question indeed. Great post!
