In case you hadn’t noticed, ‘Spoken Word Wednesday’ is now ‘Spoken Word Thursday’. I have my reasons….. 😉
I recently discovered (and yes, I realize that I;m probably late to the game!) a great poet named Sabrina Benaim, This piece is called “Reasons” and I love it. I love both the content and the delivery, as they are perfectly in sync.
According to You Tube Sabrina delivered this during the 2014 Canadian Individual Poetry Slam Championship during the Verses Festival in Vancouver BC. Enjoy!!
Steven Harz was the 2013 winner of the international People’s Poetry Contest and is a three-time winner of The Iron Writer Challenge. Steve still writes poetry, but now it rhymes and is put to music – either acoustic with a Martin or electric with a Gretsch.
