Poetry / “Tickle”

giggle

Tickle

The next time that you giggle

I am planning to redirect it

backward

with

a kiss

so it can lodge

in your throat

and you can feel

the same tickle

that I do each time

I see you in the morning

asleep

on the

pillow

to

my

left.
